Video displays are an increasingly popular way for groups to share the stories of people they serve. Many times groups can get their message out quickly using short, timely features on a single topic.

Video Promoting Free Computer Class at Harvesters with Metropolitan Community Colleges - July 14, 2013. Lynda Nablusi, instructor with Metropolitan Community College, is featured in this video promoting an upcoming class on Social Media Basics. The video was produced to encourage individuals to attend the class. The video was captured using a Canon Vixia HF R21 camera and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Video Showing Audio Track Overlay - June 3, 2013. This video was taken on a family vacation and demonstrates overlaying an audio track taken from a separate video of the musical group at the same location. The video was captured using a Canon Vixia HF R21 camera and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Karin Page with Society of St. Andrew - April 29, 2013. Karin Page with Society of St. Andrew - West (SOSA-West) explains how the organization provides food assistance to local pantries through its farm field gleaning operation. Karin spoke about SOSA-West after appearing on the “Community Organization Spotlight” segment on KKFI 90.1 FM’s EcoRadio KC weekly radio show. The video was captured using a Canon Vixia HF R21 camera and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro using an auto-level lighting adjustment to correct a low lighting location.

Revolve KC Bike Shop - April 13, 2013. This video shows how an old bike I received from a neighbor was donated to Revolve KC Bike Shop at an April 13, 2013 bicycle recycle event in Kansas City. Revolve refurbishes bikes and in turn donates the bikes to individuals in the Kansas City area.

KKFI - Band Auction Videos - April 2013. This playlist of YouTube videos showcases bands performing during the annual KKFI 90.1 FM on-air band auction. I captured the video using a Canon Vixia HF R21 camera and edited it using Adobe Premiere Pro.

KKFI - Promo for Fundraiser - April 7, 2013. This video promotes the annual KKFI 90.1 FM on-air band auction. The video was developed with Adobe Premiere Pro with still photos and video from the 2012 band auction. I developed the title slide using Adobe Photoshop

Connecting for Good - Neighbor.ly fundraiser - March 2013 - This video was a collaboration. I provided the video footage and most of the still photos. Another Connecting for Good volunteer edited the material for a video posted to the Neighbor.ly crowd-sourcing website. The videos were taken with a Canon Vixia HF R21 high-def camera.

Connecting for Good - Juniper Gardens announcement on free wifi service - March 21, 2013 - This video was an opportunity for a Northeast KCK Healthy Kids organization representative to explain the benefits to online grocery shopping for residents of this public housing complex. The video were produced with a Canon Vixia HF R21 camera and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Operation Breakthrough - January 20, 2013. These videos documented the organization's volunteer coordinator explaining the classroom and food pantry. The videos were produced using a HTC EVO phone camera (note to self: bring extra batteries for real camera) and uploaded directly to YouTube after stabilization and lighting fixes.

KKFI "Local Showcase" - April 19, 2012. These videos highlighted spoken word-poetry performances by BOLD.NEW.POETS collective. The videos were produced using a Canon Vixia HF R21 high-def camera and Adobe Premiere Pro video-editing software.

KKFI Band Auction - April 12-22, 2012. These videos were put together using a Canon Vixia HF R21 high-def camera and Adobe Premiere Pro.
